Payment Policy

Credit card details are required for all on-line bookings to secure the reservation. These details are retained to guarantee your booking only, and no charge will be made before the arrival date. Although the credit card is used to secure the reservation, payment can be made by other means such as eftpos or cash.

Group Bookings

Group bookings of 3 or more units are to be made by inquiry only. We reserve the right to accept team bookings, and special booking conditions will apply. If you require a team or group booking please either send us an email inquiry to info@rosecitymotel.co.nz or call us direct on 0508 356538. We will be more than happy to answer your inquiry.

Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, we require a minimum notice of 48 hours prior to your arrival date, of any alteration or cancellation. If we are given notice less than 48 hours, but are able to resell the cancelled accommodation with no disadvantage to ourselves, there will be no charge. However if we are disadvantaged by that cancellation, we may charge one night's accommodation to the credit card number supplied to secure the booking. This also applies in the event of a No Show.

Child Policy

Children under the age of 2 years old stay free, unless using the existing bedding, in which case the usual child rate applies. Porta-cots are available for hire at a cost $5.00.

Other

Smoking: Smoking inside any of the units is not permitted. Outdoor areas are available where smoking is permitted. Guests who choose to smoke inside may be evicted, and will be charged for decontamination of the unit, plus any damage and loss of income that we suffer as a result.
Pets: We do not allow animals, either caged or unrestrained in any areas of the motel complex.
Fumes and damage: Any decontamination, extra cleaning, repairs or replacements required to restore our unit or property to its normal condition, plus any resultant loss of income that we suffer, will be charged to the guest or company responsible for the room concerned.
Visitors: The comfort of all of our guests is the upmost importance to us. We do not allow large, noisy gatherings or parties in any of our units. All visitors of guests must leave the premises before 9.00pm. Any breach of these policies regarding excessive noise and visitors may result in extra charges and eviction.
Visitors of guests must not park their vehicles in the motel complex unless advised and authorised at reception.
